Best Cheshire Wedding Venues

Choosing a wedding venue can be one of the most stressful and difficult parts of planning a wedding – picking a dress is easy in comparison to choosing what is going to be the backdrop to your special day! As a pianist that has been helping to create picture perfect weddings for 35 years, I have a fantastic knowledge of some of the best wedding venues in Cheshire…so decided to put my knowledge to good use by sharing some of these with you. You could be one click away from finding the perfect Cheshire wedding venue that you have been looking for!

To help you in your search, I have included some of my favourite wedding venues in Cheshire! From luxury castles to rustic barns, those wanting a winter wedding to those wanting a summer wedding…you will be able to find the perfect wedding venue in Cheshire. You will also find a little more information on what you need to think about when selecting your wedding venue. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your wedding day any further, I would be more than happy to help!

Choosing A Wedding Venue

Selecting the perfect wedding venue is so important, it is going to be the centre of all your memories of your special day, the backdrop to your photographs and the focal point of the happy day for you and all your guests. Boutique hotels will usually have beautiful manicured lawns which make for perfect photographs, or if one of the Cheshire castles is more your style then you will have the benefit of the rolling driveways and period features. There are also a number of rustic barns if you are looking for a more “homely” feel which is very fashionable at the moment.

When choosing the best wedding venue for your wedding day, there are a number of things you need to consider:

  • The location you are looking for
  • The number of guests that will be coming to both your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, evening meal or evening reception
  • Whether your venue is for your whole day or just the reception and evening
  • Entertainment that you are wanting to organise for throughout the day
  • Whether outdoor space is important for you
  • Your budget – including whether anything is provided as part of the package at the wedding venue
  • And most importantly……the overall appearance of the venue!

Entertainment at your Wedding Venue

One of the main things you need to consider when choosing your wedding venue is the organisation of your day and the entertainment that you are planning on having throughout.

For example, if you would like to have your ceremony outside, then is there somewhere for a pianist to play during your arrival and when you leave as husband and wife? Equally, if you are wanting musicians, such as myself, to play throughout the day, then make sure to consider if you wedding is taking place in one room or if different parts of your ceremony will be held in a range of locations at the venue. There is nothing nicer than having a drinks reception on a lovely patio or lawn (should the venue allow) and this is something that I can certainly accommodate – British weather permitting! One way to make your wedding photographs even more unique is to use our white grand piano at your wedding – this beautiful instrument looks perfect at any venue!

As Cheshire provides the backdrop for thousands of weddings every year, you can be sure to find a vast range of suppliers in the area, but it is still important to make sure that supplies are going to be able to work with your venue of choice.
